Kaile Hilliard
Co-Founder
Kaile Hilliard holds a Master’s in Social Work from Colorado State University and is licensed as a Clinical Social Worker in Colorado. With over two decades of experience as a consultant and regulatory expert in the long-term care industry, Kaile brings invaluable expertise to her consulting company - Granite Peak Healthcare Solutions, LLC. Previously a long-term care state surveyor, she has developed a deep understanding of the complexities associated with compliance and regulatory frameworks.
Passionate about simplifying regulations to make them easily understandable and navigable, Kaile has dedicated over 20 years to working with long-term care facilities. Her extensive skills encompass survey readiness, multi-state IDR writing, and the development of Plans of Correction (POCs). Kaile’s unique insight into clinical systems within long-term care and assisted living settings enables her to enhance the quality of care for residents, particularly those with special mental health needs, through effective collaboration with staff to identify the best treatment interventions.
The LTC SOM app was developed with Kaile’s vision in mind, aimed at streamlining compliance processes for long-term care providers. By providing user-friendly tools and resources, the app assists facilities in navigating regulatory requirements, ensuring they can focus on delivering exceptional care to their residents while confidently managing compliance challenges.

Maritza Straub
Co-Founder
Maritza Straub, is an RN BSN and Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist with over 17 years of experience in the long-term care industry. Her extensive background encompasses direct patient care, regulatory surveying, and consultancy, making her a trusted expert in the field.
As a seasoned consultant, Maritza specializes in survey management, the development of Plans of Correction (POCs), and nurturing collaborative relationships with multidisciplinary teams to ensure compliance with industry regulations. Her in-depth knowledge of regulatory frameworks empowers her to effectively manage surveys and conduct rigorous pre-surveys, ensuring that facilities consistently meet and exceed care standards.
Recognizing the challenges faced by long-term care providers, Maritza is passionate about enhancing compliance and quality of care for residents. This commitment is reflected in the LTC SOM app, designed to streamline compliance processes and provide user-friendly tools to help facilities maintain high standards of service.
